Missed out on the chance to participate in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon? You can still be part of the excitement — virtually!
Now through December 31, register for the Virtual Houston Half Marathon and complete your 13.1 miles anywhere, anytime that fits your schedule. You’ll still earn your official participant shirt and finisher medal, celebrating your accomplishment in true Houston style.
Then join us on Friday, January 3, for a Finisher Packet Pick-Up to grab your hard-earned swag and connect with fellow virtual participants!

Your Registration
- Event: 2025 Virtual Houston Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Submission Window: Now through December 31, 2025
- Packet Pick-Up: Friday, January 3, 2026 at Saint Arnold Brewing Company! from 10-7 pm
- What You’ll Receive: Official participant shirt and finisher medal (available at PPU)
- If you ran the race on October 26 and did not pick up your award, you can at Packet Pick-up
How to Complete Your Virtual Race
- Run or walk 13.1 miles anywhere, anytime before 11:59 PM on December 31, 2025.
- Treadmill runs count.
- You may complete the distance in a single effort (recommended) or in multiple segments within the window.
- Record your effort using any GPS watch or app (e.g., Strava, Garmin, Apple Workout, Nike Run Club), or a treadmill photo that shows distance and time.
- Submit your result by December 31 using this form: VIRTUAL SUBMISSION LINK.
What to Upload
- Time & distance (required)
- Screenshot or photo showing your 13.1 miles and elapsed time (required)
- Public activity link from your app (optional but helpful)
After You Submit
- You’ll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours that your result was received.
- Pick up your earned shirt and medal at Packet Pick-Up on January 3:
- When: 10-3 PM
- Where: Coming Soon! Within the Houston City Limits.

FAQs
- Do I have to run it all at once? No. One continuous run is encouraged, but multiple segments within the window are accepted.
- Are there age-group awards? Virtual results are non-competitive; no overall/age-group awards.
- Can someone else pick up my packet? Yes, with your name and a copy of this email.
- Need shipping instead of PPU? If you can’t attend PPU, packet shipping is available if requested by Dec 31 ($15.95 shipping fees may apply).
