We understand training for your race can be overwhelming. One way to achieve your personal best is to take advantage of training support provided by running clubs throughout Houston. The Houston Half Marathon & 10K does not endorse any specific training program. Like a good pair of running shoes, finding the right fit and support that meets your needs may take some time. The Houston Striders is one of Houston’s largest running clubs and the founding/organizing club for the Houston Half Marathon & 10K. RRCA certified coaches offer SMART training for club members of all abilities, and the club hosts four group workouts per week and long runs on Saturdays. Click here to find out more.
Free Houston Striders Half Marathon & Marathon Training Guides can be found here. These are 16 weeks training guides for the Half & 28 weeks for the full marathon, starting on mid July.
