The mission of Achilles International Houston is to enable people with all types of disabilities to participate in mainstream athletics in order to promote personal achievement, enhance self esteem, and lower barriers to living a fulfilling life.Achilles Houston welcomes people of all disabilities, ages, and levels of fitness to join them for their weekly workouts. While they are mainly “runners,” they encourage all types of sports to join them. Achilles Houston is completely free for everyone and they do their best to cover all race fees.
